Ter'ell Shahid is a singer/ song writer/ producer from Austin, Texas. On the LOVE, TRUTH and AUDIO TAPE CD, Ter'ell opens with a spoken word tribute to women narrated over a hiphop beat with jazz influenced music. This monologue sets the tone for the entire body of work. He comes across as a male version of Jill Scott with afro -centric overtones similar to Badu. He targets a broad audience that includes college kids all the way to 50 year old mature listeners. Ter'ell's sound is Urban and is a nice gumbo of relevant styles. He mixes hiphop, jazz, blues, funk and soul to create what you hear on this CD.
